We are seeking a full time Travel Designer (sales and service) to work closely with our clients to create tailor made travel solutions. This position requires attention to detail, organization and is predominantly computer/office work. The Travel Design team works with international wholesalers, travel agents and consumers to develop tour itineraries.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their travel preferences, interests, and budget constraints
  • Itinerary Design: Craft customized travel itineraries that include accommodation, transportation, activities, and dining options based on client preferences and available resources
  • Destination Knowledge: Develop expertise in the Canada and Alaska regions, staying updated on the latest attractions, accommodations, and experiences to offer the most current and relevant recommendations
  • Logistics Management: Coordinate all aspects of the travel itinerary, including flights, transportation, reservations, and activities, ensuring seamless transitions for clients throughout their journey
  • Budget Management: Provide clients with pricing and work within their budget constraints to create exceptional travel experiences
  • Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, including hotels, tours and transfers
  • Client Support: Offer exceptional customer service throughout the travel process, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the trip
  • Safety and Compliance: Stay informed about travel regulations, safety guidelines, and health protocols to ensure the safety and well-being of clients
  • Feedback and Improvement: Collect feedback from clients after their journeys and use it to continuously improve our services and offerings

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketing Coordinator to work at our downtown Vancouver office and assist in our performance marketing strategy. If you're a strategic, data-driven marketer who is passionate about travel and inspired by innovation, we want to hear from you.

Reporting to our Performance Marketing Manager, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist in the paid strategy and optimization of our marketing campaigns to increase acquisitions and conversions. The position will play a vital role in supporting the strategy, management, and ongoing performance of our paid channels across Google Ads and social media platforms. By assisting in the development and optimization of campaigns, you’ll contribute to driving brand awareness, engagement, and customer acquisition in alignment with our marketing objectives of the Discover Holidays brands.

Responsibilities:
  • Create, run and optimize Google ad campaigns with guidance from the Performance Marketing Manager
  • Support the setup and management of paid social campaigns (e.g. Facebook, Instagram) to ensure targeted reach, effective spend, and alignment with campaign goals.
  • Coordinate with the Social Media Marketing Specialist and Graphic Designer to help create compelling assets tailored for paid social channels.
  • Assist with conversion tracking using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, regularly monitoring key performance metrics.
  • Contribute to performance analyses, identifying trends and insights to support optimizations and data-driven decisions.
  • Compile and maintain detailed performance reports on digital campaigns for internal stakeholders, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Help prepare specialized reports for external partners, providing data that reflects campaign impact and value, as requested.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to conduct keyword research and assist in SEO initiatives to optimize website content and improve visibility.
  • Research potential new paid media channels (e.g., YouTube, Pinterest) and evaluate their relevance in driving brand awareness and growth.
To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related field
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in digital marketing
  • At least 1 year of experience in Google Ads and Paid Social Campaigns
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Meta Business Suite, and Hootsuite (or similar platforms)
  • Knowledge of SEO techniques and best practices a plus
  • Exposure to additional paid media platforms (e.g., YouTube, Pinterest) a plus
  • Familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for asset creation
  • An understanding of DTC marketing, ideally with travel, retail or lifestyle products
  • Familiarity with the travel and tourism industry (seasonal trends, major players, and emerging destinations) a plus
  • Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to prioritize based on impact
  • An understanding of business metrics and an ability to optimize for them
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • An ability to work collaboratively and autonomously

  • Room Block Management: Oversee room block operations, including loading blocks, release dates, blackouts, and managing inventory.

  • Proficiency with Excel: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to analyze data, create reports, and streamline processes.

  • Team Player: Capable of working collaboratively with team members and independently when necessary to achieve common goals.
  • In-depth Knowledge of Canada and Alaska: Familiarity with popular tourist destinations, activities, and cultural nuances in Canada and Alaska is preferred.
  • Background in Tourism Management or Related Field: Previous experience or education in tourism management, hospitality, or a related field is advantageous.
